Spirit of the Desert Lutheran Church

Pastor Randall FoosWelcome. We’ve been waiting for you! It’s true, because we believe that every person who comes into the circle of this fellowship was sent by God Himself. It’s not by accident that we have the joy of meeting you. So, above all else we want to express Christ’s love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth.

Spirit of the Desert is a congregation with VISION! We EXPECT great things of God ... and we will ATTEMPT great things for God! There is nothing greater or more worthwhile than to be a part of God’s plan! In fact, it was the prophet Jeremiah who spoke God’s word to the people of his day when he shared: “FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU – PLANS TO PROSPER – PLANS TO GIVE YOU HOPE AND A FUTURE!”

Here at Spirit of the Desert, we are participating in God’s plan as we seek to grow this mission congregation. We openly WELCOME all people regardless of church affiliation or background. We are all God’s people who are called to work together to His glory!

Join Us for Worship Service Each Sunday at 9:00 AM

You and your family will enjoy hearing our NEW Rodgers Electronic Pipe Organ which was recently installed. This is a wonderful addition to our worship experience. Our organist, Gary Sliwa, is busy learning the capabilities of this new instrument.

At the present time, we worship in a temporary facility that is shared with another congregation. Currently, we are working with a local architectural firm to develop a new worship facility with a Christian School. The task before us is awesome - but it will be accomplished as we join our lives together with faith in the Lord!

What Kind of Church is Spirit of the Desert?

Our beliefs are consistent with historic Christianity and expressed in ways relevant to the culture around us. We provide a safe environment to ponder spiritual questions.

If you feel disconnected from God or from his Family – the Church – you will find Spirit of the Desert a place to make these life-giving connections.
